Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce
With its mission to make Macon the best place for business, the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce provides many services to help businesses grow and expand in Middle Ga. Working with the Macon Economic Development Commission, the Chamber has taken the lead in industrial development in Bibb County.

Urban Development Authority
The Macon-Bibb Urban Development Authority can help start-up businesses in the City of Macon by providing PILOT abatement plan and or sell-lease back agreements. As a bonding agency, there are several other financial tools that can be provided on a case by case basis.

Macon Economic Development Commission
The Macon Economic Development Commission (MEDC) is responsible for recruiting new industries to Macon, Bibb County as well as assisting existing companies with expansion projects. Serving as the ‘single point of contact’ between companies looking for sites and buildings in Macon and Bibb County, MEDC will coordinate with the local and state agencies involved in the site location process. The MEDC team can assist with your site location requirements: Available Sites, Available Buildings, Incentive Structure, Infrastructure Assistance, Demographic Profiles, General Contractors, Wage and Salary Surveys, Workforce Availability and Training, and Relocation Assistance.

University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (Macon)
The SBDC offers many different services for small business owners including management classes, training, business planning assistance, and growth management planning. SBDC training courses cover all areas of running a small business such as financial planning, loan procurement, marketing, and expansion.
