teams which are the Macon Knights
and Macon Blaze.
Macon received its first
Arena Football team known as the
Macon Knights. The Macon Knights
start their season in April and
end in late July.
The Macon Blaze have
come to Macon as part of the exciting
World Basketball Association. The
Blaze's season starts in late April
and goes to July

Macon contains seven recreation centers, two public tennis courts, and six public swimming facilities. Recreation centers offer swimming classes and programs for senior citizens, physically challenged and mentally disabled citizens.
Macon is also plays host to 12 baseball/softball leagues, ranging form T-ball to 18-year old teams.
