Attorney's Office
City Attorney’s Office is composed of a City Attorney appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council, three full-time Asst. City Attorneys, a Risk Manager, an Asst. City Attorney/Compliance Officer, a Legal Assistant, a Risk Management Assistant and two Legal Secretaries.

Aviation Department
Macon’s Municipal Aviation Department is responsible for the safe conditions and operation of Middle Georgia Regional and Herbert Smart Airports, building and land rentals and maintenance of all City-owned buildings on the airport grounds.

Bowden Golf Course
Bowden Golf Course is an 18-hole course that opened in 1940, making it the second oldest course in Macon. Bowden can provide a challenge for players of any ability, with four sets of tees on each hole, ranging in length from 4940 to 6626 yards

Central Services
The Central Services Department consists of seven departmental budgets, seventy-six full-time approved positions. It is the intent of the Central Services Department to provide specialized services to all City Departments as well as the general public. Our purpose is to service all City owned and operated buildings and facilities as well as all City Departments with Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, General Maintenance, Communications and Custodial Services.

Centreplex
The Macon Centreplex includes the Macon Coliseum, the City Auditorium and the Ed Wilson Convention Centre. The Coliseum is Macon’s multi-purpose public assembly facility, seating over 9,000 people and with 42,354 square feet of exhibit floor space.The Macon City Auditorium is located in historic downtown and is listed as a historic landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. This unique facility, built in 1925, features one of the largest copper domes in the world.

City Clerk's Office
The City Clerk's Office is the custodian of all official records and archives of the City, other than those of the Clerk's of Council. The City Clerk's Office also operates the Central Records Retention Center for the City, coordinates the inventorying and purging of departmental records in compliance with legally sound retention schedules, and processes and distributes incoming city mail as well as collects and sends out outgoing city mail.

City Council
Composed of fifteen members, City Council is the legislative branch of the City Government. This body enacts the laws, ordinances, and resolutions for local government. Council is elected every four years, with three members from each of the five wards. Post I of each ward is elected by the City at large and Post 2 and 3 positions are elected by only those people from within the respective ward.
