The General Maintenance Function is responsible for new construction as well as repairs and renovations to city owned buildings and recreational facilities. This Function provides many services for the City of Macon and the general public.
Below

fencing and playground equipment |

Repair/replace
walls, floors, ceilings, windows,
doors, awnings, etc. |

Repair/replace locks,
hasps, hinges, doorknobs, door closures,
etc. |

Install
posts, scoreboards, etc |

Build
stairs/steps, ramps, bleachers, lifeguard
stands, benches, etc. |

Move
equipment from park to park for events |
| |
Pickup,
repair, and return tables, chairs,
etc. |
| |
Inspect
and provide specifications and cost
estimates for roofs, renovations,
repairs, etc. |
| |
Complete
preventative maintenance programs |
| |
Assist
other Functions/City Departments as
needed |

Provide cost estimates for capitol projects |
| |
Repair/remodel leased spaces throughout city buildings and facilities |
